Evacuees at Duxford
Children from year 3 and 4 were fascinated to learn about the experiences of children their age during World War 2.
Dressed in clothes representative of the era they were met by Bunty Braithwiate, the billeting officer, and issued with id cards and ration books. They were then able to experience the sensation of wearing a gas mask. All of this role playing was part of a fun packed day at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.
