The weather was glorious, as was the atmosphere and the home baked scones with clotted cream and jam.

Congratulations to our U11 Boys who won the ISFA Regional Championship at King’s Ely on Saturday 17th March 2018.
Broughton Manor booked their place at St George’s Park for the first time after claiming the U11 7v7 east region title at the rearranged event held at Kings Ely.
Broughton Manor were the stand out team in group B going through the group stages unbeaten with 3 wins and a draw to top the group.
The quarter finals produced some incredibly tight matches with three of the four being decided by penalties with Kings Ely, Taverham Hall and Broughton Manor being victorious in the shoot-outs.
Penalties were once again needed in the second semi-final and it was Broughton Manor who held their nerve and defeated Taverham Hall in the shoot-out.
The final was an excellent game between the two group winners and it was decided by a second half goal as Broughton Manor took the chance when it came and then defended excellently to see the game out and claim a
1-0 victory and be crowned ISFA East Region U11 champions and claim the final spot in the National Finals day at
St George’s Park.

On Saturday 24th March 2018, children from Broughton Manor and their parents attended the matinee performance of ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ at the Royal Theatre in Northampton, starring our Deputy Head, Mrs Rachel Smith. It was a great afternoon, and everyone enjoyed themselves enormously. For some of our younger children, it was their first taste of a classical musical production which was set in a nursery playroom; it was fun, modern and highly entertaining. Many thanks to all
the parents for bringing their children along for this memorable experience! Read more »
