Year 2 Mixed Football Fixture v Monkston Primary School

On Wednesday 20th June 13 of our pupils in Year 2 took part in their first football fixture at Monkston Primary School. We started positively with plenty of possession and created the first clear cut chances of the game. Monkston then created 2 chances on the counter attack and scored both to leave us 2-0 down at half-time. The team talk was clear; we needed to keep going and enjoy ourselves. We pressed forward with more conviction and determination and we went on to score 5 unanswered goals. A hat trick for Alfie Rowland, 1 goal from Ivan Nyeama and a goal from a corner by Max Dhillon. Congratulations to all the children that took part!
