We have a wide range of technology available for use, including a dedicated CTS suite, iPads, and laptops.
Our state-of-the-art Computing and Technology Suite is fitted with the latest Apple iMacs that run a combination of Apple and Microsoft software, providing the best quality experience for our pupils. This ensures not only that our children have the necessary tools to successfully engage with subject-specific lesson material, but are also prepared and able to operate and switch between different operating systems as they continue into senior school life and beyond. This enables them to learn essential computer skills and terminology, all of which are vital in today’s fast-paced digital world.
At Broughton Manor, we want to ensure that we use digital tools to connect our parents, staff and pupils. The children are introduced to the learning platform we use provided by Google, allowing them to collaborate, email and store their work in a secure digital space. This tool allows parents to connect themselves to their child’s account to view homework that they have been submitted, along with their teachers’ comments.
