At Broughton Manor, our rich and varied programme of extra-curricular activities enable our children to explore different interests and discover new talents.
We believe that school is not just about what the children do in the classroom;  our rich and diverse variety of clubs builds on the curriculum to ensure that every child not only receives an excellent all-around education but also has the opportunity to discover and pursue other areas of aspiration.

Our teacher-led clubs are available to children in Year 1 and above; these include sports clubs, CTS, drama and our choir and orchestra.
In addition, we offer clubs that are run by visiting expert peripatetic teachers.

Music plays a part in life at Broughton Manor, within and beyond the curriculum. Through our visiting tutors, we offer one to one expert tuition in a variety of musical instruments. Lessons are available at all levels, from complete beginner, and pupils work towards graded examinations. Tuition takes place during lunchtimes and after school.
We currently offer private music lessons in Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Guitar, Violin and Cello.

Karate lessons are taught by our visiting Sensei. Karate builds confidence, encourages self-discipline, develops character and promotes courtesy and respect.  Karate offers a coloured belt system; all children start at the white belt grade and work through the different colours. This system not only measures the children’s progress but also provides children with the opportunity to set goals and work towards achieving them.
