Mrs Smith kicked off the new spring term with an assembly on the importance of our theme for this term, being “polite”. The children were introduced to the catchy song, “Take Your Manners Wherever You Go” and asked to consider different ways of being polite around school. Some children mentioned covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough, some talked about showing gratitude when someone helps you or gives you something and some brought up the need to wait for your turn and share nicely with others. It was a great start to the new term and a super chance to get off on the right foot. Here is to a brilliant term filled with excellent manners and polite people!
