On Thursday 13th December, the pupils in class 11 visited Cadbury’s World in Birmingham. They learned about the origins of the Company in the early Victorian period and about the lives of the rich and poor during this time. The tour of the factory included a chance for the children to try their hand at mixing and tempering chocolate and to see demonstrations on how the liquid chocolate in the factory gets made into all the products we see in the shops. It was a wonderful day of learning and fun. The children enjoyed the tastes and the smells of the factory and represented the school in exemplary fashion.
