On Monday 7th October, the children, parents and staff at Broughton Manor took part in a wonderful Harvest Festival assembly. Reverend Matt Trendall spoke to the children and parents about the ways we can be thankful, specifically by taking great care of our planet and recycling plastic. The children sang some beautiful harvest songs; from Conkers to Allotments, Controlling our Food Waste, to This Special Planet – we clearly have a lot to be thankful for. A big thank you must go to our families for the astonishing amount of food they donated. It took three people carriers, the whole Student Council and Uncle Alan to deliver it to the MK Food Bank later today. Well done to everyone for a brilliant effort!
